Student Health

Here, you’ll find important information and resources to support the health and well-being of all students within the Apache Junction Unified School District. Our goal is to ensure that each student has access to the necessary resources to stay healthy, safe, and ready to learn.

Health Services in AJUSD

Our school nurses are here to help students maintain good health throughout the school year. From managing chronic health conditions to providing emergency care, we’re committed to ensuring that each child receives the care they need.

Services include:

  • Medication administration (with required forms)

  • First aid for injuries or illness during school hours

  • Health education and guidance for students and families

 

 

Tips for Staying Healthy

  • Healthy Eating: Encourage balanced meals for optimal focus and energy throughout the school day.

  • Staying Active: Regular physical activity helps keep kids energized and supports overall health.

  • Good Hygiene: Remind students to wash their hands frequently and cover coughs and sneezes to prevent the spread of illness.

  • Sleep Habits: Ensure that students are getting enough sleep each night to support their learning and growth.
