Students who live outside the designated walk zone are eligible for transportation services. Walk zone distances are: - Elementary: 1 mile or more - Junior High: 1.5 miles or more - High School: 2 miles or more If you're unsure whether your child qualifies, or you're requesting a transfer, reach out—we're here to help.

For the safety of all students: - Arrive at your stop 5–10 minutes early - Respect the driver and follow all safety rules - Remain seated while the bus is moving - Keep aisles clear and talk quietly Let’s work together to make every ride safe, respectful, and smooth.

We believe families deserve options—and access. That’s why AJUSD has expanded its transportation routes to help students attend any school in the district, regardless of where they live within our boundaries. If your child is enrolled in a school outside your neighborhood zone, such as a specialized program or The new Academy at Superstition Mountain, transportation may still be available. We’re committed to removing barriers so every student can attend the school that best fits their needs and interests.
