AJUSD FLEX

AJUSD FLEX gives families using Empowerment Scholarship Account (ESA) funds a way to customize learning while staying connected to a trusted school community.

Rather than choosing between full-time enrollment or going it alone, FLEX allows students to build a learning plan that fits their goals, schedule, and learning style. Elementary students can participate in engaging, in-person enrichment and academic classes that support creativity, confidence, and core skill development. High school students can enroll in individual academic courses or participate in athletics while staying connected to campus life. Preschool-aged children can attend The Learning Center (TLC), a structured, part-time early learning environment designed to support social development and school readiness.

Flexible scheduling makes it possible to balance home education, online coursework, or specialized training while maintaining access to certified educators, structured learning environments, extracurricular opportunities, and meaningful peer connections.

With AJUSD FLEX, families gain flexibility without sacrificing support, connection, or quality instruction.

What you can do with AJUSD FLEX

High School Classes

Enroll in individual high school courses through AJUSD. Great for students who want campus connection, specific classes, or a gradual transition back into full-time school.

Junior High & High School Athletics

Students can participate in AJUSD sports and stay connected to teams, coaches, and school culture.

Elementary (K-8) Classes

Students can participate in engaging, in-person classes that support academic growth, creativity, and social development.

The Early Learning Center

Hands-on learning, academic support, and social connection in a structured, part-time setting.

AJHS Classes: $600 per class, per semester

Enroll in individual high school courses for credit while staying connected to AJUSD teachers and campus learning.
