We are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with EVIT for the 2026-2027 school year, providing certainty for CTE students and their families.

The agreement reflects a shared commitment to ensuring students continue to have access to the high-quality CTE programs that prepare them for college, careers, and life beyond high school, whether they attend programs at EVIT's central campus or participate in CTE programs offered at their home high school.

Throughout the negotiation process, AJUSD remained focused on one priority: supporting students. With this agreement in place, students can continue pursuing the educational opportunities they have chosen while both organizations move forward with a shared commitment to student success.

As EVIT classes begin, students requiring transportation to EVIT will gather in the Apache Junction High School parking lot for pick-up each day at 11:15 a.m. Students will return to AJHS at approximately 3:15 p.m. AJUSD staff will be present during both departure and arrival to supervise students and help ensure a safe and smooth transportation process.

Please note that EVIT manages all transportation eligibility, bus routes, and assignments. Families with questions regarding transportation should contact EVIT directly at 480-461-4000.
