Mrs. Hardt’s 4th graders at Desert Vista Elementary embarked on a colorful journey to decode weather vs. climate. Teams of 5 students were armed with 30 Skittles each, a Google Classroom Activity, and a mission to crack the code!
With each Skittle draw, the room turned into a candy-coated weather station. Students transformed their data into sweet bar graphs and tackled questions like pros. They emerged as true weather wizards, learning the difference between forecast and climate in record time.
