This will be my 18^th year in Apache Junction teaching science to junior high students. Each school year introduces me to an amazing group of young people who are still curious about how the world around them functions. I believe that it is my job to nurture that curiosity and provide opportunities of discovery at just the right level and in just the right way for each and every student.

In my spare time I love reading cheesy fiction, traveling (and collecting magnets of my destinations), scrap booking those amazing memories as well as spending time with family and friends.  I also find it very relaxing looking through cookbooks and finding new recipes to try out. While I am far cry from being any kind of professional chef, I think attempting new flavors in foods is lots of fun!
