I was born and raised in Wisconsin.  I started my music career at the age of 5 with piano lessons.  When I was in 4th grade, I started cello.  By the time I was in 6th grade, I was helping the music teacher with beginning students.  I graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.  After college, I moved to Los Angeles to become a professional cellist.  I lived there for ten years.  I moved to Apache Junction and pursued my Masters in Education.  I currently teach the orchestra at AJHS, CCJH as well as Strings at Desert Vista Elementary School, Four Peaks Elementary School and Peralta Trails Elementary School.
