Welcome, my name is Lindsey Short and I am a 5th grade teacher here at Desert Vista Elementary! This is my 4th year at DVES but my 13th year as a teacher. My previous experience is mostly in 4th-6th grade. I am orginally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin but I have been living in Arizona for over 20 years. I graduated from Arizona State University in 2007 and have been teaching ever since!

I am married and have two beautiful daughters and a snuggly cat. (In pre-Covid times) I enjoy going to concerts, traveling, and shopping. I also enjoy watching TV and sleeping!  Most of all, I just enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
