  • The following protocols are in effect for all events held at the Apache Junction Performing Arts Center until further notice:

6 feet social distancing throughout the auditorium max capacity in house is set to: 132 including handicap seating. Seats and rows have been taped down with red tape for what is not available.

One way entrance into the building and one way exit out of the building. Encourage audiences to use all exits throughout the house, the two emergency exits on either sides of the stage, the emergency exit doors to the back of the house and of course the lobby exit as well. Exterior doors will need to be propped open before performances and after performances limiting the contact of people pushing open doors.

The Box office is available to use to sell tickets for performance nights.

The lobby is only to be used for those needing to use the restroom.

Restrooms are open to use and the door leading in will be propped open to minimize contact with door handles.

Face masks are required at all times while in the auditorium this goes for attendees, staff, performers and presenters/speakers. If an individual does not have a mask on they will not be able to gain entrance into the facility.

Performers and anyone who is on stage must be screened with temperature checks by a member of the rental staff. Anyone with a temperature above 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will need to leave the facility immediately.

Avoid having performers or anyone on the offstage areas that are not needed.

Bottled water is the only consumable permitted in the auditorium.

Microphones will be wiped down after every use. No performer will be sharing microphones unless it has been cleaned.

The use of Drama Room-little theatre room, choir room and television studio will not be accessible to rental organizations.

Thermometers, Clorox wipes, gloves, hand sanitizer and PPE Masks will not be provided by AJUSD and or its staff. This is the responsibility of the rental client to provide materials if desired.

    Recommended to bring: Hand Sanitizer
