Hello,

Welcome to 2nd grade CHAMPIONS!

     I know things are starting off a bit different this year.  However, I am still just as excited to see and teach each and everyone one of you.  We will learn, create, and explore through our computers and each other.  Each child will bring their own sort of uniqueness to our virtual classroom and we wouldn't be the same without them.

     This is going to be my sixth year teaching at DVES.  All but one year has been in second grade.  My heart and soul is with second graders and I continue to learn more each year I teach it.  I love this age group and how eager they are to learn and help me out.  

     I come from a large family which is now spread out all over the USA.  I currently reside nearby and love our mountains.  I have a husband and two girls.  I currently will have my own second grader and an incoming fourth grader.  Wow! They are getting so big so fast.  

     I love the outdoors and when we get back into the classroom I always try to get us outside to explore or grow our classroom gardern.  I love crafting and currently have been using and learning new tricks with my own cricut machine.  So creating and hands on learning is very important to me.  We would do an art project once a month for our windows in our classroom.  I love to spend time with my family so I know how much home and work balance will be.  Especially with online learning.  

     I am here to help, lend a hand, or guide you on how to get through this is the most positive way.  I value each and everyone of you and I believe in mental stability for these kids.  I know we can do this and I can't wait to get your little one learning again.  Here is to a great year CHAMPIONS!!
