I just completed my 18th year teaching math in AJUSD.  Before that I worked at various elementary schools in this district bringing my total experience here to almost twenty years.  I moved into education after working in the business world, because I believe that I can make a difference in teaching math to the next generation.  In my previous career I was a computer systems analyst and I love to work with and offer new technology in my classroom.  This is part of the reason I am so excited to be at CCJH working with 7th and 8th graders!  I love to share my knowledge of technology with the students and I try to have them share what they know with me, since the use of technology comes so easy to them.

When I am not teaching I enjoy spending time with my husband and two boys in Gold Canyon.  I love working in the community that I live in and I really enjoy interaction with children outside of the classroom.  Again this year my family will try to juggle the schedule of multiple football games and practices, since both of my boys will be players on football teams.  I love major league baseball in the summer and love the Diamondbacks!  I am also ready for the NFL season to begin.  At the beginning of the season I always try to imagine my Buffalo Bills going to the Super Bowl!

I thank you for the opportunity to work with your student and I look forward to watching them grow as the year progresses!
