I have been instructing Physical Education for eight years. This will be my sixth year at Cactus Canyon Junior High. I believe that everyone should live an active and healthy lifestyle. In my PE class, I incorporate past and current health topics in my instruction. It is important to me for students to see what fitness, sport and wellness can do for them in their lives. I will also be coaching the boy's basketball "A" team for the sixth year. We are the defending champions in our league (DMSAL) with a combined record of 42 wins, 13 losses. This will be my eigth year coaching basketball at the Junior High level. This will also be my first year coaching the Apache Junction boys varsity basketball team. I am a very competitive and passionate about basketball and hope to bring that out in our kids. I am excited to teach your child a variety of sports, lifelong activities and current health topics. In my off time, I love to watch and play sports, collect Nike and Jordan shoes and spend time with my lovely wife of seven years Courtney, our son Scott III and dog Caroline. My favorite teams are the New Orleans Saints, Boston Celtics & Minnesota Timberwolves, Boston Red Sox and Boston Bruins. I also love the University of Georgia and University of Texas-El Paso although I graduated from the University of Arizona.
