Regular school attendance and punctuality are essential for success.  The experience of what goes on in the classroom cannot be duplicated.  Students should only be absent from school when absolutely unavoidable.  

If your child is absent, please call the school office at 480-677-7561. Please indicate your child’s first and last name, the date, and the reason for his or her absence.  

All absences should be excused within 24 hours.  In addition, written documentation excusing medical and other appointments resulting in an absence (doctor, dentist, urgent care, court, etc.) should be submitted to the attendance office. 

If a student leaves during school hours for an appointment, a parent must sign the student out. Failure to do so will result in an unexcused absence. Your cooperation in this matter is crucial to the success of your student and very much appreciated.
