Mrs. Snowball - Librarian
My name is Shannon Snowball and I am the librarian at Four Peaks. This is my third year at FPES. I have previously worked at Gold Canyon, Peralta Trail, and at CCJH teaching 8th Grade Language Arts. I have also worked with the First Things First program as a Parent Educator. I graduated from ASU and University of Phoenix. My Master's Degree is in diverse learning and I continually take classes to stay current with educational trends.
I have 3 children. All of them have been students in the Apache Junction School district since kindergarten.
Chaz is a math genius and loves to play games and solve rubik cubes. He is training to become an electrician.
My other son, Brendan, graduated form AJHS and is attending CAC. He is majoring in theater. He loves to read and is a huge Harry Potter fan.
Allison is Junior at AJ high school. She is a Lifeguard at the pool during the summer and enjoys writing and watching sports, especially the Phoenix Suns. She is currently a member of the Teen Advisory Board at the Apache Junction library.
I love spending time with my family. I enjoy reading, music, traveling, camping, and watching sports and movies. We have a lot of pets at our house- 4 cats and 2 dogs. My cat, Stewie, is black and has extra toes. I collect Garfield stuff and Star Wars is my all time favorite movie. I am also a huge sports fan and I love cheering for the home team. I really do not like spiders and mean people. I was born in Buffalo, New York, and moved to AZ when I was 7. My future goals are to become a published author, see more of our country, and be a forest ranger with my husband when I retire.
