Ms. Rebecca Marquez
My name is Rebecca Marquez and I have been working with children for over 15 years. My first job was at a preschool, and working there validated the fact that I was born to be a teacher. I have worked with Kindergarten, 3rd graders, and with 6th graders. Teaching has always been a passion of mine!
When I am not teaching, I am home with my family. I have 3 children ages 8, 4, and 6 months. We are a busy family and enjoy swimming, playing outside, camping, and art. I am a NAU graduate (Go Lumberjacks) and enjoy sports, coffee, and music. Another fun fact, I am from Apache Junction and love my community.
I am so excited to join the Mustang family this year in second grade. Starting the year online will provide us with new experiences that will last a lifetime. I am commited to providing a wonderful 2020-2021 school year. My goal is to maintain a positive and safe learning environment for every student in my classroom. It is important for my students to know that we are ALL in this TOGETHER.
