Hello! I'm Erica Nafziger, and 2019-2020 will be my second year teaching at AJHS! My degree is in Biology with an emphasis in Pre-Medical Studies from Grand Canyon University.  This includes a strong background in Chemistry, Math, Anatomy, and Genetics.  My passion is medicine, particularly autoimmune disorders and their effects on the body. Prior to teaching, I worked in the medical field as a Medical Language Specialist for 8 years. As an educator, I taught secondary Math in a one-to-one classroom format prior to joining AJHS; taught Physical Science and Biology last year; and am returning to the Math department this year! I look forward to this journey toward making mathematics relevant and fun!
