This is how work will be graded in this science class.   

Classwork (including labs, journals, projects) 70%

Tests 30%

Assignments that are late will lose ten percent of their overall grade.  Students will have the opportunity to make up any work they miss if they are absent.  If a student is absent one day, they get one day to make up work.  ( If they miss five days, they have five days)
