The Book Club is a service organization whose members like to read and share about various kinds of literature. We meet to work on fundraising projects, literature events and competitions, and just to hang out with other people who like to read.
One of our first events will be a Library Lockdown, an overnight event at the 300 building that will include books, movies, treats, and team-building activities. We also host a Literature Fair with games and activities for the whole family. In January, we compete in Battle of the Books, a fun way to show your competitive spirit and share your knowledge of the assigned novels.
One of the highlights of our year is attending the Renaissance Festival in February. For “I Love to Read” week, we have an amazing top secret activity. The destination for our May field trip is still “to be determined.”
