    • Representatives from area colleges, Superstion Fire & Medical, AJPD, Parks & Rec, and the Apache Junction Water District will provide information to Seniors during 1st hour in the south gym

    • ASU More2Explore week -- The University of Arizona is offering students the opportunity to learn about the university through a variety of workshops and activities at its four Phoenix-area campuses. Participating students will be able to hear about the ASU experience from current students, learn about financing their education, find out what to do after they are admitted, or see the benefits of living in a residential community. There also will be campus tours of classrooms, residence halls and state-of-the-art labs. Registration closes for the Tempe and Downtown campuses on Sunday, Oct. 7 at 8 a.m. and for the Polytechnic and West campus on Thursday, Oct. 11 at 8 a.m.

    • The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences will hold an open house for area high school juniors and seniors and their parents/guardians from 7 to 9 p.m. at its Gilbert Campus, 1205 N. Fiesta Blvd. CRAS offers its audio engineering students an industry-leading curriculum and award-winning Instructors.The open house will introduce you to the world of audio engineering and include a tour of the CRAS facility.     • The Greater Phoenix National College Fair will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Phoenix Convention Center. The free event offers prospective students the opportunity to connect with hundreds of colleges and universities in one location. Participants are encouraged to register free at GOTOMYNCF.COM in order to receive fair details, avoid lines onsite, and to share contact information with selected schools. Additional information is available online at www.nacacfairs.org/greater-phoenix.

    • Central Arizona College (CAC) will hold its PALOOZA open house at the Superstition Mountain Campus in Apache Junction from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. The event will give prospective students an opportunity to tour the campus and meet CAC’s staff, faculty and current students as well as to learn about student activities, clubs and organizations and explore university partnerships and transfer opportunities. Interested students may sign up to attend the PALOOZA in their American Government or Economics classes or at the College & Career Center in the Main Office.
