ACCESSING EXCENT
 

1. Log on to the computer.
2. Double-click on "My Computer" icon.
3. The "My Computer" screen will appear. Double-click on "Eads."
4. The "Eads" screen will appear. Double-click on "Excent 6" file folder.
5. The "Excent" screen will appear. Find the "Setup. exe" icon, and double-click.
6. Follow the instructions that will follow. One of the screens will ask of you want
the icon to appear on our desktop; say "Yes".
7. Once completed, close out and you should find the "Excent Client" icon on your
screen. Double click on "Excent Client".
8. A boxed labled "4D Network Component" will appear. Single click on the bar
"More Choices."
9. In the "Name" field, type : Excent06
10. In the "Address" field, type: 172.15.0.14 (there are no spaces; included the
dots).
11. Highlight Excent06 in the large box at the top right hand side.
12. Single click on "OK".
13. The "Password" box will appear. In the "User Name" field, type your first
intial and your entire last name. This field is not case sensitive.
14. In the "Password" field, type the same thing as in "User Name field, EXCEPT
the first two letters MUST be capitalized and the rest MUST be lower case.
This field is case sensitive.
15. Click on "Connection."
16. You should arrive at the Main Page of Excent.
