Apache Junction High School, Mountain Shadows Education Center and the District Administrative Center were in a Code Red Lockdown on the morning of April 19, 2007. This was a precautionary measure in response to a possible threat of a weapon on district property. Police were notified and emergency procedures activated. The student responsible was taken into custody by police and no weapon was found. Letters went out and may be reviewed by clicking on the links below.
